Pottery from Conner Prairie
Fine arts or arts and crafts? Poetry or pottery? Waltzes or rock and roll?

Whatever your mood, Hamilton County can send your creative soul soaring. Our cultural lineup includes symphonies and galleries, big-name concerts and small-town singers, hand-carved decoys and homemade candies.

How dedicated are we to the arts? Look no further than the Performing Arts Center under construction in the heart of Carmel. When completed, this state-of-the-art venue will attract artists from across the nation and around the world—along with the home-town talents of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra.

Stars of rock, pop, country and soul bring their songs to Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, a 24,000-plus seat venue where you can groove to the tunes under a covered amphitheater or on a starlit lawn.

For a taste of local talent, hit the Atlanta Music Hall or the Hedgehog Music Showcase on a Saturday night for live—and free—jazz, blues, big band and Dixieland. Or enjoy an area theater production at the Artist’s Studio in Fishers or Noblesville’s The Belfry Theatre.

The Carmel Arts & Design District brings together galleries, gifts, antiques, boutiques, home furnishings and interior design together in one pedestrian-friendly eight-block destination. At the Conner Prairie living history museum, you can purchase freshly kilned pottery; in Noblesville, you’ll find meticulously carved decoys but, galleries, gifts and antiques on the Historic Noblesville Square.

Art galleries, artists in concert, classic crafts, finely crafted wines—let Hamilton County be your passport to a dramatically diverse cultural destination!
